Phew...

Took a while going through the posts unleashed by Prashant Baveja. Congratulations Prashant! You seem to have a solution for all the problems, I stand impressed.....

But how exactly do you think your suggestions are practical? Are ideas the only seed towards accomplishing something? I know its far too easy to look around where you are...and compare the two parallel worlds. But IMHO, it is a wrong thing to do. The very premise of arguments itself is such a world apart, that it makes no sense to apply lessons of the west to the east. The only way to learn is ourselves, and I think we are doing a pretty good job of it. Inspite of all the poverty around us, all the corruption, all the chaos of incompetent government offices and officials, things do happen. We continue to march forward and claim the 4th spot in the world. The same commonwealth which was much ill-publicized opened to a grand spectacle. My friend Prashant, here is a message for scores like you, who take some sadistic pleasure in taking a dig at your own country and your own alma-mater:


Yes, India has poverty. Yes, we spent a lot on Commonwealth Games. Yes, Corruption is out there. But India is on the move. Growing faster than most of the "once" developed world. We are the 4th largest economy despite low per capita income (not on PPP basis). UK (the commonwealth head state) especially gets more investment from India than vice versa (that when they have been the biggest thugs and mass murderers in not so distant history). Events like Commonwealth Games 2010 bring about investments in infrastructure and benefits for many years beyond the games.


As an Indian I am proud of the fact that for a change, the world is worried, jealous and awed by the sheer demonstration of YES WE CAN by Indians. My way of dealing with it: We ignore you and move forward. Jai Ho.


And then, can you please give up on the fact that Hon'ble V.C is reading this, or has any role whatsoever behind anything published here. When I hardly find time to respond to your trilogy, how on earth can I imagine PBS Sir to even know that you exist anymore! I'm an alumni just like you, and yes there has been voluntary participation by many of the current students and alumni's who sent us information (information about you being an example). The threat to you is from your Karma's, not from anybody else.

I can't find time to reply to all the madness you unleashed, majority of which I reject as mere speculation and suggestions. There is no proof or evidence behind anything you said, but they do make some interesting arguments. I will only have time to cover a few:

• Innovation/Ramblings about US Universities: We don't disagree with you on this, they do have some of the best innovations happening out there. The research programs are well-funded, well organized, and they deliver. But then, everything has a humble beginning, we are making ours. Rather than being proud of what we have achieved on our own (read: zero external funding, zero external consultancy and academicians, well you know them!), you want to compare it with the west? I, for one, would not do that. I would encourage these students to better on what they have achieved and move forward. After all, it takes one Ashutosh Saxena to do it @ Cornell my friend (and one Prashant Baveja to do it @ Rochester!). We have done this: http://indiaedunews.net/Engineering/DTU_students_create_Robotic_Shera_for_CW_Games_12691/ and we should be PROUD of it. A small step towards the end, is surely better off than not starting at all! Let's give ourselves some time...after all, what logic can dictate comparison of a University established in 1865 with a University established in 2010?!
• Bio-Diesel: While I don't have much of this, I do know that the value of the project lies in the seed it uses. True bio-diesel is not a new concept, but the breakthrough here is to be able to make it out of Jatropa seeds and the form-factor of the reactor. Sadly, the project is led by some very incompetent people like NK, but then it is an important research on its own in the context of India. I also understand that not much has been done to take the project forward, but this responsibility should/must lie with the lead researcher, not PBS. He provided all he could to take the project forward.
• Toy Cars: Thank you for appreciating the honest efforts of the students, isn't it good enough that amongst the rankings you posted on your blog, DTU is the only Asian University mentioned? At least we are doing things, and we must laud the efforts, rather than calling them toy cars. One of these students shall one day do great stuff @ Cornell and MIT. We at least were able to provide an initiative as an Institute, we provided an opportunity and for this alone, the Administration along with the faculty members involved should be praised and respected.

Prashant, only if more people could have ideas and proposals like you. But our faculty (and each one of them, you know, I know) just do not have the motivation and spirit to do something good. There are exceptions like RKS (with whom you have been closely associated), but clearly there is need for more like him. There is a pressing need for our faculty to indulge, participate and set examples in the field of Academics (and not stand with banners or instigate innocent students).

An institute is not a one man show, but sadly DTU has to be run that way. Let us hope more people get inspired and work together to take it to greater heights. The top most agenda on the minds of our faculty is attacking an individual who is trying to do something good. You can have your views, (and if expressed in a respectable and dignified manner are fully acceptable), the current fact is: DCE has moved on, moved on to DTU, towards autonomy, towards greater opportunities. Me and you see it in opposite ways, you being pessimistic and negative about it, and me optimistic. I don't see any fears cited during the protest coming true (Placements/Ranking etc), which is a sigh of relief. 

There will be rumors, and things passed around. As with anything else in India, we will stumble and overcome. Have a good day.

Note: 

- IITB Incubator: I looked at the IITB Incubator website, I am CONFIDENT we will be better off in 10 years time. 

- Democracy: This is democracy, and all views are respected. But an abuse is an abuse is an abuse, Period. And abuse is an offence, and has no place in any democracy.

- Lathi Charge: If the students go on their own and try to gatecrash into 10 Janpath, when a sensitive convention is going on, what do you expect Delhi Police to do? There Police morons know only one way, LATHI. If  PBS had so much control, he would prevent the students from reaching there in the first place. On the same facebook where you revel, there were (now deleted) posts that mentioned the instigation that was done by the student leaders. And anyways, down with Delhi Police...I join you in it. It was a yet another shameful demonstration of the abuse police does everyday. FYI, a strong protest was registered with the Delhi Police for this action by DTU Administration and the DTU Admin was pivotal in getting the student leaders out of the jail (as reported in media).

When a Dog gets mad....

You don't bite him, you shoot him.

Been busy out here, was out on a business trip. There isn't much to reply to mindless abuses and wild accusations, but Prashant has proved exactly the point we have been making: He is ABUSIVE, it is for everyone to see. Abuse is where it started, and there was/is no reason for us to go down to his level. We really hope someone from his current or past Administration takes note of the happenings and make him succeed on the Self-Destruct path he has chosen. Still Mr. Prashant Bhagat, you shall be answered.

Allegations, hate mongering, fear psychosis, abuse....this was the summary of the last campaign, spearheaded by gentlemen like Mr Baraiya, Mr Shekhar and Mr Prashant. I am so sure a lot more would have been achieved through peaceful means, but understand this gentlemen: It was never an Anti-DTU campaign, it was an Anti-PBS campaign all along, hatched by masters in our own fold and supported by elements in Delhi University.

Jobless people who are in their own Naraka, pray for others to join them. I assure you Nitin Baraiya, if not PBS, PB (Prashant Baveja/Bhagat) will join you soon! And not because we threaten (or someone will do something), but because to reach where you are (your jobless Naraka) there are certain karmic requirements. You fulfilled them to the fullest, and the fun is just about to begin. It is so clear that you are looking at another defeat at the Hon'ble High Court, your basis for the petition is as absurd and falsified as the campaign you spearheaded recently. Unfortunately, our legal system is such that such petitions have to be heard. The statistics will yet again expose the myths. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy in advance!

For a while, we deviated from our purpose of this blog, primary distraction being Mr Prashant Bhagat. There shall be one more post devoted to that loser, he has already said all he had. We really hope he slept well after his trilogy (lmao)....After the next post, you will be ignored Mr Prashant Bhagat.

The email campaign of lies...and what's next guys?

First of all...we haven't been able to update the blog or publish some of your comments out here. The reason is that unlike Shri Baveja or Shri Baraiya or Shri Babbar, we have better things to do in life. These three and the gang are aggressively pursuing just one agenda, Removal of Prof P.B.S as V.C.

It is a worrying trend in our country, where V.C of a University is being targeted without any show of respect and almost always, without a genuine cause.

Take for example Delhi University, where Prof. Pental introduced semester system, a global standard which ensures classes and course delivery can happen in a structured fashion and evaluation be spread over multiple phases. It is a step in absolute right direction, and look what happened? The DUTA stood up against it. Why? Well..they will have to teach throughout the year (rather than finishing course towards the end of the year), Semester system introduces more scrutiny towards the performance of teachers and makes them more accountable. It is indeed sad to see the lowest level to which DUTA has fallen...The single point agenda is to: Eliminate the individual who brings a positive change!

Jadavpur University: The plan to introduce CCTV and mandatory declaration of Identity Card became an issue. Why? Every University has the right to restrict entry to its premises if there is credible evidence of malicious activities by external elements. From BBC:


University authorities do not admit publicly that Maoist activities in the Jadavpur campus is the cause for planning a CCTV network.


But unofficially they say that a recent press conference held by a Maoist leader in the university premises - at a time when the police was trying to arrest her - may have provoked the authorities to improve the security arrangements.

Isn't that reason enough!? Who is it protesting then, students backed by Maoists? Sure enough! Anyone with a clean intention will never mind going through such routine measures, if it ensures better security and prevention of anti-national activities inside the campus. What was the agenda then? Eliminate the individual who brings a positive change! (Prof Sharma, if you ever read this: Please introduce the same system at DTU! We really need to keep the Flammable Substances away from the campus, they continue to burn with frustration seeing you there)

This is pretty much the story @ DTU as well. We have witnessed several of the veteran Faculty Members now openly protesting against the V.C. All of these, were at some point very close to the man they are now shouting "Hai Hai" against. The agenda in the disguise of car parking, dean position etc is again the same: Eliminate the individual who brings a positive change! DTU continues to create waves, when it comes to National Rankings, Record Placements, Eminent Visitors, New Faculty Members and so on.... (more in our next post).

I personally am not surprised to see the individuals from the faculty who are leading this right now, but I am pained to see one particular faculty member amongst them (someone whom I highly value and respect). It is because of him, that I believe there must be some genuine issue that the administration can/must resolve. The credentials of the other two are well known, since none exist! Sir, you really don't look good in the company you have chosen, even if you strongly feel about the cause. THEY are no match for YOU! Those two look fine standing outside the Admin office and shouting slogan, at last they finally have something to do!! But not YOU Sir, we need you to continue the great job you have been doing in Research and Innovation, we need you to set a great example for the new generation of teachers who have joined DTU. You are exactly the role model they need, except the happenings of the last few weeks. We sincerely hope the grievances are resolved ASAP, and at least you withdraw your role from this baseless shouting match.

There has been a mail circulated through the Save DCE Facebook page, we shall publish the response to that in our next posting. Rest assured Save DCE wallahs, you will fail again! The numbers and facts speak, NOT YOUR LIES!

Mr Prashant Baveja, we are choosing not to respond to your self-boasting and idiotic posts and comments. You clearly aren't worthy of the time we have already spent on you. The right opportunity, shall be the the moment of strike. It is only a matter of time, before your own doings reflect in your listed credentials. We did not mean to attack you really, but what you did on SaveDCE facebook group is shameful. You indeed spread lies, instigated students and abused the head of your alma mater. This alone demonstrates your integrity and credibility. You shall be sorry, because we live our life carrying all our karma's on our shoulder (and this one will weigh heavy on you).

The Baveja's and the Baraiya's and the Babbar's .... All "B" grade Shame to a Great Institute

Ahem....Where do we start?? It's been quite and nice, barring some recent developments around elections, Internal (DTU) and External (DU)....With all that happened, we still find ourselves in good company when it comes to National Rankings (Ranking for DTU, NOT formerly DCE). There have been some great visitors to our University, the admissions went along flawless and fair, the research plans seem to be evolving and the curriculum update is on track. Wow!


Before we begin, a word of caution: Last time around, they started the campaign by asking for blood on Facebook. The idea was to collect Phone Numbers and then start a malicious SMS campaign. The history is repeating itself, the faces have changed: This time, Mr Ankit needs A-. Ankit, you don't need blood, you need brains. This time the sleuths will be catching up right from the beginning. Do it, and we sincerely hope you spend a longer time in Hawalaat....You guys suck, using such a cause to spread your lies! SHAME ON YOU (oops, you guys are proven shameless eh? Sorry Sorry)


But then...what did we miss? hmn...

• Mr Baraiya and the gang have fallen to shame with their baseless campaign, lost their jobs, looking for any sniff of issue that can help create another trouble for us. BaraiyaJi, you should be hunting for job...don't prove your joblessness by continuing to pursue your false agenda. We know you have been hurt, but then...it was a wrong choice My Friend. You should feel lucky of not being on the ire of so many students, whose life and career you put on stake. You HAD no agenda, and you HAVE no agenda. I will come back to you shortly, Mr Baraiya.
• Our fake alumni, PBS hater, dear Mr Prashant Baveja (aka "Bhagat Bhakt") has sent some material to us (which we held publishing until now). Well thank you Sir, your comments are online now and we are forced to waste a little time on you answering. Never mind, got to live with suckers in this world.. Come back to you shortly too. (Oh yeah, our blog comes up 9th when searching for your name on Google :), hope Prof. Govind Agrawal/Dr. Drew Maywar read your doings soon!)
• Ankit Babbar's name is withdrawn as President on disciplinary grounds, and Abhinav could not contest DU Elections. Strange: One want to compete in DTU while another wants to compete in DU! And still from the same Institute/batch....How How How My dearies? And NitinJi claims Ankit is innocent, we will RIP his innocence soon...and let the matter R.I.P!

Take 1: Nitin Baraiya, the Forever anti-DTU activist...Does not have a mirror at home


Nitin, we have verified that treatment of mental illnesses is free in our country....really, they will not even charge a single penny. We all know you are jobless (had the poor employer continued, he would have fired you anyways....After all, who needs a scumbag like you!), we know you have been humiliatingly and totally defeated in the false campaign you led, we know you are out of your wits end accepting your defeat but then, at the least: BE LOGICAL! We have invited a debate on numerous occasion on this platform, if you dare Mr Sicking Baraiya: DEBATE....Don't ARGUE, TALK....Don't SHOUT, Say the TRUTH, Don't LIE. Just because you have access to somebody in Delhi Secretariat who continues to offer you sympathy DOES NOT mean you will be able to do anything. Just who is Ankit Babbar? Well...it's the same guy who got embroiled in a fight against Meena's (and created the most embarrassing violent episode in the history of DCE/DTU)....Is it the same guy who got FIR registered against the DTU Administration? (and yielded what? NOTHING, huh)....Is it the same guy, who wants to fight DTU Elections, when all the time crying for DU?....Is it the same guy who went and testified against his own Alma Mater in High Court (LOL, High Court....Baraiya Ji, waha bhi haar gaye? tch tch...)


No no, it is the Ankit Babbar who is such a role model for the Modern generation of DTU and DCE students.  Really, we were so pleased to see his public album on Facebook....The photo with beer in hand, or the Gajini Pose, or the Bikini Photos...Wah Ankit....What a great role model you will be for our students....THE FACT IS, YOU BELONG TO THE SAME PACK OF SHIT....AND YOU SMELL AS MUCH AS THE "SUPER SICKS"....They are wanting you there, so that they can have some control over the happenings in DTU....NO WAY Dude, you have been shown the door....I really wish you were thrown out of the college right when you gave us that excellent media coverage for all the wrong reasons.


And then, all you are interested in is: Women! LMAO, Your facebook says so Dude! LOLZ Another despo with nothing better to do.

Yes Baveja Sir...let't talk. Sorry to keep you waiting...so where were we?

• Thanks for accepting that you are a thankless maniac....when you accepted you were out of the way helped by PBS.
• Good for you, Non Topper and still doing good. We are surprised you even passed dude :)
• You will have a standing in Global Academic Circles in future: Hmn, you will not be able to achieve even the Shoelace of Prof PBS, whose shoes you were licking sometime ago. If you really want to know who is PBS, ask Prof. Agarwal....maybe he can open your eyes! (when was the last eye-test you did?)

• I wish we could tell who we are Mr Baveja....and I assure you, you will be seen running to the Super-mart to fetch a bag of Adult Diapers if you knew. We are a strong group of Alumni's, much much senior than you and so well placed that you cannot even imagine, Prashant Sir. But then, we know you are sick....and we don't go around chasing someone because we did not get any funding to attend conferences during our college days!

Last but not the least, we feel it is high time people at Nonlinear Fiber Optics Group know you better. It will be done, we assure you.
